After 4 long, long months, a new review episode has finally
hatched! This time, I'm taking a look at Chicken Run for the PS1 - a
child-oriented stealth game released in accordance with the Aardman animation
of the same name. Is the game as 'eggs-cellent' as its film counterpart?
Surprisingly, this game controls rather well. For the most
part, you control Ginger, and occasionally switch to Rocky (very obviously not
voiced by Mel Gibson), as well as the rats Nick and Fetcher, with the main
objective to find and retrieve a number of items dotted around the farm and
Tweedy household for use in Ginger's sometimes insane escape plans. I tell you,
this crazy chicken is gonna see us all turned into pies long before the
short-sighted Mrs Tweedy gets her hands on us.
Please watch to the end of the video for an extra special
message! My friends and I are partaking in an inflatable obstacle course
challenge for Children In Need and Fight for Sight. Follow the links below if
you wish to donate. Thanks so much, everyone. It's good to be back!
