Welcome to the world of tomorrow! In 2003, a video game
based on Matt Groening's sci-fi sitcom was released! Ever wanted the chance to
roam around New New York of your own accord? Well... you still can't. Indeed,
this game doesn't allow you to explore the series' universe(s) to the extent
that the Simpsons games do. But is it nonetheless a worthy addition to the
franchise?
Story-wise, arguably yes. But the gameplay leaves a lot to
be desired - it feels a little TOO reminiscent of some older games, and while
it might be true that the intention was to pay homage to such titles, the truth
is that these older games were much, MUCH better. Who'd have thought the world
of tomorrow would maintain such dated mechanics?
First of all, I just wanna apologise for the shocking
quality of my video camera footage. I am intending to purchase a new, better
camera VERY soon, as the blurriness of the footage is becoming increasingly
distracting as the quality of the game footage improves. Otherwise, I hope you
